"This is, bar none, the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. It has the perfect combination of comfort and support. Other orthotic shoes (Orthoheels, Birkenstocks) have support, but they're very hard on your feet. After wearing them for a couple of hours, all I want to do is take them off. These Telic Sandals on the other hand, I can wear them all day long. My only complaint is the price. They're a little steep for sandals made of elastic polymers."

"The Telic Flip Flops are selling incredibly well. In less than a week we have sold more than 20 pairs and they keep flying off the rack every hour. Being a store in the north we tend to fight sandals on sale and cheap flip flops this time of the year. Price has not once been a factor in selling these. The great part is being able to take them off of the rack quickly, throwing them on the floor, and have the customer/patient put them on; then you get to watch them walk out the door wearing them. We have put them on people who have arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and post surgery problems. The concept of support and great feel is truly unmatched in these. "Very comfortable. I bought these because I had a store credit I had to use. They are more expensive sandals than I would ever buy. And, they look like the strap might break pretty fast. That being said, these are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. They have a built in arch support, and to me that is important. I weigh 235 and have had foot pain for a while. So far so good. I also bought a pair for my wife and she loves them. If these last a while and stay in good shape, these will have been well worth the money."

I grew up on Tybee Island. We rarely, if ever wore shoes in the spring and summer... and sometimes even into winter! Flip-flops were the order of the day when not in school. We did wear flip-flops onto the beach -- white sugar sand is BLISTERING hot!
Not me, however. I hated those hot, rubbery flip-flops. Thin... the toe-strap would break... and the slapping noise when you walked was annoying.
When recently asked to review a brand-new style of summer shoe, I was a bit hesitant. I didn't think I'd like them. And boy-howdy, was I wrong!
Telic is an American company. Telic International is headquartered in Boise, Idaho and the sandals are made in a family-owned plant in Buford, Georgia, the very last of its kind in the United States that can make this type of footwear.
I like and support products made in America. This is what it's all about. American workers -- American ingenuity -- American quality.
Mike and I both received a pair of the amazing Telic Flip Flops. Mine are bright flamingo pink and Mike's are basic black. Now, Mike loves flip flops. He has several pair. When he tried his new Telic on... he couldn't stop talking about how comfortable they felt. He said if Telic ever decides to make work shoes -- he'll buy the first pair.
I was a bit more skeptical. Taking a deep breath, I put mine on. It didn't take long to convince me -- these are the best flip flops I've ever worn. Bar none.
The technology behind these shoes is superb. Obviously, they gave it a lot of thought and research. The shoes are sturdy, comfortable, message your feet, react to the warmth of your foot to conform to it's shape. There are Arch supports! In a flip flop! I love the fact that my feet don't slide around in the shoe. You put them on and they stay put! Even the strap between the toes is pliable and doesn't make your feet hurt. It's literally like walking on a cloud. Your foot is enveloped in soft comfort. Once you wear these shoes -- you will never return to the same-old same-old flip flop.
Another major plus for me: These shoes are 100% recyclable! You can turn your shoes in at you local retailer and receive $5 towards your next pair. The shoes are then inspected, some shoes are then sent to countries for those less fortunate, shoes beyond repair / wearability are recycled into new shoes!
Telic has created a shoe that you can wear all year round. Spring and Summer, of course, these shoes are also perfect for wearing inside the home in Fall and Winter. They are just that comfortable and versatile.
The shoes come in three styles: The Z Strap, Flip Flop, and Slide. Right now, there is only a few colors available, but come Spring 2013, many more colors will be on the market!

"I live in San Diego and have fallen in love with my Telic flip flops. I work for FEMA right now and currently working at the Hurricane Sandy disaster in New Jersey... It gets really cold in New Jersey so when I went to the mall on my day off last week to do some Christmas shopping, I was wearing my UGG boots. By the time I walked from the parking lot into the shopping mall my feet were already tired and I knew I wasn't going to make it walking around the whole day in my UGGS. I started looking for a shoe store and the first one I came to was the flip flop shops. Being from San Diego, I was interested but being in New Jersey in December, I didn't think I would be purchasing flip flops for myself that day. But when I tried them on I was immediately blown away at how good they felt. I asked the saleslady to put my boots in the bag and I wore my Telic flip flops out of the store. I have serious problems with fallen arches/flat feet and using the Dr. Scholls inserts and other less expensive shoe inserts just don't do for my feet what these flip flops do. I still can't believe that I walked around the mall all day long in those flip flops (in December in New Jersey!) and my feet never got tired. My back feels better and I feel better. I wish I could wear them to work! Today I am going back to that store to buy a pair for all three of my sons for Christmas. They make an incredible gift for a person who has everything too."
